Tour Overview

Tour de Franck 'The Tour Before Le Tour' is the ideal cycling holiday in France for cycling enthusiasts who wish to experience some of the legendary climbs of the Tour de France without the frantic chase that comes with following the actual race itself.

The dates are scheduled in the month of June which is ideal to keep the momentum of your holiday alive as you arrive home to watch the professionals tear up the very same mountains you have just ridden!

While cycling is obviously the main focus of the holiday and indeed some of the most renowned climbs of the Tour de France are included in our tour itinerary, we also ensure our clients return home with more than just memories of cycling in France.  Indulging in the regional cuisine is as enjoyable as cycling to the top of Alpe D'Huez. The ardent cyclist enjoys the odd detour to take in the sights as much as their non-cycling partner accompanying them on the trip.

We spend twenty days traveling through the magnificent Pyrenees, the Alps, Provence and Italy's Lake Como, enjoying some of the most breathtakingly beautiful scenery you can imagine. We like to add a little variation to our itinerary each year to accommodate our many returning guests, adding challenging new climbs and exciting locations where possible.
