Picking you up at Adelaide International Airport, a quick transfer will see you settling in at your four star deluxe accommodation. Gathering for drinks we meet and greet our group. Team Presentation today with the traditional Tour opener - the Down Under Classic - set for 7pm - 30 laps of a 1.7 km circuit. As the excitement runs into the evening we have dinner at our hotel allowing us to hit the hay ready for our big day tomorrow!

Monday 19th January
Tour Rest Day

Taking the opportunity of the Tours rest day to set out on the first of our rides, we are in no hurry to cover the route set for Stage 1 of the Tour Down Under the following day - Norwood to Mawson Lake with a total distance of 140km. Wine tasting at one of Adelaide's most popular vineyards followed by a sumptuous dinner is a great way to wind down after a terrific first day. Dinner tonight in one of the city's popular haunts.

We hit the road before the pro's begin the stage and find our best viewing spots along the route to see some of cyclings finest pass through. Picnic lunch on the road is provided - enjoy the first official stage!

Today is the official opening of the Tour Village - the heart of the Tour. With endless activity each day there are plenty of opportunities to brush up on your 'cycle talk', buy official tour merchandise and perhaps sidle alongside the pro's with your jersey and laundry marker coincidentally at hand!

Wednesday 21st January

Riding to the official start town of Hahndorf we view the race passing through before it heads to the finish line in Stirling. Hahndorf is a perfect viewing spot as there is plenty to occupy the curious while we wait for the peloton to tear through. Following the race, we finish our ride heading back to our hotel for a gathering at dinner and a replay of the days events.

An early morning ride will see us back at our hotel in time for breakfast followed by a mass exodus (in our own team car) to the best viewing spots along the Stage 3 route. The afternoon is yours to fill with the excitement of the Village atmosphere or perhaps explore further afield discovering the cafe's and bars throughout the city.

Your package includes entry into the Mutual Community Challenge Tour and today is the day! The Mutual Community Challenge Tour (valued at $130.00) is part of the Skoda Breakaway Series, which forms the official recreational ride program of the Tour Down Under. This is definitely a challenge – but not a race with the ultimate satisfaction coming from riding under the official finish arch. This ride is for regular riders who can make the distance – will you make it to the finish before the professionals arrive?

* Rides for both the 155km and 97km option will be escorted to the start line and supervised throughout

Saturday 24th January
Stage 5 - Snapper Point to Willunga - 148km
view map

A relatively easy paced ride this morning along the beaches of Adelaide complete with a cup of the local brew after our major weeks effort! We will need to conserve our energy as tonight is the night you have been waiting for! Included in your package is your reservation at the Legends Night Dinner (valued at $250.00 per ticket). This is the place to be! The gala dinner is a gathering of cycling identities who have made the industry what it is today and it is your opportunity to get up close and personal! Bring your glad rags - and the laundry marker!

Sunday 25th January
Stage 6 - Adelaide City Council Circuit - 90km
view map

An early morning ride will see us return in time to pack our bikes and luggage and remain free to witness the last stage of the tour. How close will it be? The day when all classifications are decided we are as close to the action as you can get! As part of your package you have access to the VIP stand to see the final moment of glory capping off a fantastic week at Adelaide's Tour Down Under!

Today is the last day of our tour and following the presentation of the riders we transfer you to the airport.
