Voyager Cycling Tours in the Community
The owners of Voyager Cycling Tours, Frank Conceicao and Joanne Palazzetti together with another keen cyclist and most valued friend, Colin Iremonger, spent several months raising funds to begin a junior cycling programme, now known as the Eastern Suburbs Junior Sports Academy.
With the funds raised we have purchased in excess of 40 brand new junior road bikes and helmets. We offer this project to the community at no charge, this includes the use of the bikes and related equipment. We also donate our time each week conducting the cycling sessions .

Our major sponsor Westfield Eastgardens together with other well known business names such as Reed Australia, Rauland, Projects TT, Albion Cycles, CI & Associates and MyDenist.com have donated considerable funds in order to make this project possible.
The project is intended to promote the great sport of cycling within our youth, introducing the children to a whole side of cycling they didn't even know existed. Children who do not possess a bike of their own or would like to gain experience riding a racing bike use our equipment each week at our fully supervised cycling sessions. We have had children join who were completely overwhelmed at the difference between a road bike and their BMX at home now racing at open events .
It is our aim to expose the members of the ES Junior Sports Academy to the many cycling events in and around Sydney, encouraging them to participate in open events and social fun rides as a proud member of our junior cycling programme.

In addition to the ES Junior Sports Academy we are responsible for the administration of the Eastern Suburbs Cycling Club. ESCC stages annual events donating proceeds to various charities including the Leukaemia Foundation and the Childrens' Cancer Institute Australia. |
